The 68th BFI London Film Festival has announced the programme of Screen Talks, featuring a number of leading filmmakers and actors.
The program includes sessions with Steve McQueen, Lupita Nyong'o, Denis Villeneuve, Andrea Arnold, Sean Baker, Daniel Kaluuya, Mike Leigh, Zoe Saldaña and documentary duo Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin.
Fresh off the success of the “Dune” films, Villeneuve will take audiences through his filmography, which includes “Arrival” and “Blade Runner 2049.” British filmmaker Andrea Arnold will share insights into her impact on both the big and small screen, while Sean Baker, who recently won a Palme d’Or for “Anora,” will explore his approach to depicting marginalized lives in film.
