Malacañang on Friday (August 2) announced the appointment of Trade Undersecretary Ma. Cristina Roque as acting secretary of the DTI.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced Roque's appointment in a Facebook post on the same day the resignation of Minister Alfredo Pascual took effect.
Prior to her new position, Roque served as DTI Undersecretary and led the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Group.
