Diane Lane Takes on New Role as Slim Keith in "Feud: Capote vs. The Swans"
The Emmy campaign can be a grind, but Diane Lane is loving it. With an Emmy nomination under her belt, Lane has hit the circuit to discuss her role in Ryan Murphy’s FX limited series “Feud: Capote vs. the Swans.” It’s a busy time as voting gets underway: Right after speaking with Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, she hit up another FYC event.
“This whole estimation of the value of women is really in the zeitgeist, certainly politically and globally,” Lane says. “And it’s a great time to be a woman because I think we’re going to continue to leave footprints in the sand for generations to continue to take.”
In an interview with Variety's Awards Circuit podcast, Lane spoke with senior artisans editor Jazz Tangcay and admitted that she's a lot more present than she used to be, and how she feels more alive than ever at this stage in her life and career.
