The Pinewood Studios film, directed by Marc Forster, wasn't completely pulled from the market, but development was halted for a variety of reasons, including the allegations about Gaiman.
Released in 2008, "The Graveyard Book" follows a young boy who is raised by ghosts in the graveyard after his family is murdered. The film adaptation had not yet entered pre-production and had no confirmed casting. Gaiman was not involved in the film.
In a July 3 report from Tortoise Media, the “Sandman” creator was accused of sexually assaulting a then-18-year-old woman named K in 2003 and a 23-year-old woman named Scarlett in 2022.
