Disney Sued Over Cast Member Being Fired Because She Was "TOO OLD" But She's YOUNGER Than Bob Iger
It doesn't look good when a company run by a 73-year-old man fires a nearly 20-year-old female employee when she turns 73 and then treats it as a pension on paper.
Yet that’s exactly what happened to her last year at the Bob Iger-led Mouse House, according to former Disney business analyst Deborah Violante. After apparent repeated attempts to get an explanation from her managers and Disney HR, and even a job back at the company similar to the one she held from 2005-23, Violante is suing Disney in a 20-claim lawsuit alleging wrongful termination, discrimination and retaliation (read it here ).
As you might expect from a business analyst, Violante has receipts.
