A documentary about the famed 1982 Milwaukee Brewers from former CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl and Cannonball Productions will premiere exclusively at Marcus Theatres in September.
Digital Extra: Remembering the Brewers from 1982
Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers opens September 13 at 12 Marcus Theatres in southeastern Wisconsin, including Sheboygan, Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh and Madison.
“We are thrilled to share this compelling, emotional and simply amazing story with Brewers fans in Wisconsin. We are especially grateful to our partners at Marcus Theatres, who are bringing fans the triumph and heartbreak of that magical '82 season on the big screen,” said Kahl.
Just a Bit Outside takes fans through the highs and lows of the season, including the midseason hiring of manager Harvey Kuehn Jr. after the team struggled, the Brewers battling the Orioles until the final day of the season to win the American League East — the first division title in franchise history, and the incredible comeback from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the California Angels in the American League Championship Series, sparking wild celebrations at Milwaukee County Stadium.
