The popular K-drama Vigilante, starring Nam Joo-hyuk, could be returning for a second season. According to a JTBC Entertainment News report, the series will feature returning cast members besides Nam Joo-hyuk, including Yoo Ji-Tae and Kim So-jin. However, the release date for season 2 has not yet been announced.

Nam Joo-Hyuk’s Vigilante became extremely popular due to its storyline, in which a vigilante delivers his own brand of justice to criminals. Kim Ji-Yong (played by Nam Joo-Hyuk) becomes a vigilante after a personal loss and delivers justice to criminal individuals. He leads a double life, but the secret is slowly revealed as Detective Cho Heon tries to find the real mastermind. With the possible return of season 2, it will be interesting to see how Ji-Yong’s journey unfolds.
At the time of writing, Vigilante season 2 does not yet have a release date. On July 19, 2024, JTBC Entertainment News reported that an entertainment official confirmed that season 2 of the series is currently in production. Additionally, the main cast members who appeared in season 1, including Nam Joo-Hyuk, Yoo Ji-Tae, and Kim So-Jin, will reprise their roles in the second season.
Meanwhile, the production company told the news that they are in the planning stages of the second season. Moreover, the programming has yet to be determined. The actors’ respective agencies have not yet clarified or confirmed their casting in Vigilante season 2.
