Donald Glover Explains Why He's Dropping the Stage Name Childish Gambino: "It's Not Satisfying"
Donald Glover is set to release his final album under the name Childish Gambino and explains why he will no longer use that stage name.
In preparation for the release of Bando Stone & the New World, Glover talks about why he's parting ways with Childish Gambino.
"It was really like, 'Oh, it's done,'" he told The New York Times in an interview. "It's not satisfying. And I just felt like I didn't need to build this way anymore."
