Donald Trump was back at the podium in Michigan last night to tell his supporters that he loves Elon Musk.
'Elon Musk Gives Me $45 Million a Month': Trump Boasts of CEO X's Support, Calls Him 'A Brilliant Man'
This was the first joint event with his recent vice presidential nominee, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), and the first campaign rally since the attempted assassination at last weekend's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump took the opportunity to tell his supporters the following:
“I love Elon Musk… he’s been endorsing me recently. He’s great.
"I read that he gives me $45 million a month. I talked to him a while ago, and he didn't even mention it. Other guys give you two dollars and you can take them to lunch."
