Donald Trump and Kamala Harris agree to debate, says US network ABC | BBC News
(Updated with confirmation of ABC debate, Harris comments) “We want to have three debates,” Donald Trump said today about his personal meeting with Kamala Harris before the November election.
"I think it's very important to have debates, and we've agreed with Fox that it's going to be September 4th," the GOP candidate announced at a news conference today from his home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. "We've agreed with NBC, almost full agreement subject to their approval, on September 10th, and we've agreed with ABC on September 25th, so we've got those three dates and those networks," Trump added.
Of course, Trump being Trump, the debates with the now-leading vice president aren't exactly a done deal on all three channels. "The other side has to agree to the terms," the former Celebrity Apprentice host admitted. "They can agree or they can't. I don't know if they will."
