Donald Trump's rally in Montana on Friday sparked a fierce reaction on social media after Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" — her Oscar-winning song from Titanic — blasted from the speakers shortly before the presidential candidate took the stage.

According to the Daily Mail, the irony of an ode to a sinking ship being played during the event did not go unnoticed by bystanders, many of whom took to social media, even wondering if there was a mole on the part of Kamala Harris within Trump's team, who wanted to troll Trump with the song choice.
This raises the question of whether the campaign has the rights, held by 20th Century Fox, to use the song publicly. Deadline has reached out to Dion's representatives for comment.
This isn't the first time the star's hit from the 1997 film has been appropriated by Trump's audience. The song was played at a Trump rally on Nov. 1, 2020, during the final stretch of the presidential campaign, prompting The View host Whoopi Goldberg to joke the next day, "The irony is just amazing." Co-costar Sara Haines added, "That doesn't bode well for anyone."
