Trump's Montana rally sparks conspiracy theories involving Celine Dion's Titanic soundtrack misstep
During a recent campaign rally, the team behind Donald Trump and JD Vance used a famous Celine Dion song, which caused controversy. The use of "My Heart Will Go On", famous for its use in the film Titanic, was unauthorized and Celine Dion's team has responded.
At a recent rally in Bozeman, Montana, Donald Trump's campaign used Celine Dion's iconic song "My Heart Will Go On" from the 1997 film Titanic to entertain the crowd before he took the stage. The song played on a large screen as supporters gathered to hear Trump, who seized the opportunity to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris for her lack of public appearances and interviews since President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign.
Celine Dion's team quickly spoke out against the use of her song at the rally. In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), her management made it clear that the Trump campaign did not have permission to use the song or the video. The statement read: "This use is in no way authorized and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use… And really, THAT song?"
