Senate President Francis Escudero is determined to stay awake as he listens to President (SONA) Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s third State of the Nation Address on Monday.
Escudero clarifies: no holiday discounts, just no new additions
Escudero shared some top tips to survive SONA without falling asleep. He made sure he slept well so he could stay alert during the annual address in the Batasan session hall.
“Dilat at hindi makakatulog. “Yun ang dapat mong abangan kasi minsan mahaba eh,” Escudero said in an Instagram clip on the eve of the president's SONA.
According to Escudero, SONA guests usually arrive at the SONA venue an hour before the speech and are also advised to remain seated and avoid using the restroom for safety reasons.
