Doug Emhoff, the Second Gentleman who could become the first, told Democrats tonight about the personal side of her “happy warrior” wife Kamala Harris.

The veteran Los Angeles entertainment attorney recalled how he and Harris met on a blind date in 2013 and married less than a year later. Then, he said, Harris was such a good fit for his family and his two children from a previous marriage that they started calling her "Mamala" as they became friends with his ex-wife.

“America, in this election you have to decide who you trust with your family's future,” Emhoff said.
