EXCLUSIVE: The Pitt, Max's upcoming drama series starring and executive produced by Noah Wyle, continues to round out its cast with nine actors in recurring roles. Shawn Hatosy (Animal Kingdom), Michael Hyatt (Snowfall), Jalen Thomas Brooks (Thanksgiving), Brandon Mendez Homer (The Good Fight), Kristin Villanueva (Bonding), Amielynn Abellera (The Cleaning Lady), Alexandra Metz (Chicago Fire), Krystel V. McNeil (South Side) and Deepti Gupta (For All Mankind) join the series from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
In addition to Wyle, Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Katherine LaNasa have also been previously announced as series regulars.
Created by R. Scott Gemmill (NCIS: Los Angeles, ER), who also serves as showrunner, The Pitt is a realistic exploration of the challenges facing healthcare workers in contemporary America, seen through the lens of the heroes working on the frontlines of a modern-day Pittsburgh hospital.
