EXCLUSIVE: The Into the Wild actor is set to star in the indie horror film Woozy, which begins filming this month in New Jersey. Emile Hirsch stars in the Joey Bicicchi-directed and written feature, which marks the filmmaker's feature directorial debut.

Woozy is billed as a film about unhealthy coping mechanisms and the battle against anxiety, depression, phobias and delusions. Hirsch plays Dusty, who has purposefully structured his life, through meditation, yoga, boxing, nutrition and hygiene, to create a clean and safe environment. What happens when Dusty’s flawless system fails? In comes Woozy – a terrifying presence who torments Dusty.
