All My Children star Esta TerBlanche died Thursday at age 51 in her North Hollywood home. No cause of death has been determined, and authorities believe she had been dead for about a day.

TerBlanche played Princess Gillian Andrassy Lavery on the ABC series from 1997 to 2001.

In 1991, she was crowned Miss Teen South Africa, after which she began an acting career.
