Eugene and Dan Levy in talks to host 2024 Emmys
General editor of the variety
With less than a month to go until the 76th Emmy Awards, the hosts of the telecast have finally been announced. As expected, father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy will host this year's Emmys, which take place on Sunday, September 15, live on ABC.
The two made history in 2020 as the first father and son to win major awards in the same year, thanks to “Schitt’s Creek.” That year — with the winners appearing remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic — Eugene Levy won for best comedy actor and Dan Levy for best supporting comedy actor. Dan Levy also won for writing and directing, while both won Emmys for best comedy series as executive producers.
