Eugene and Dan Levy are in talks to host the 2024 Emmys on ABC.
It’s official: Eugene Levy and Dan Levy have inked deals to host the 76th Annual Emmy Awards on September 15 on ABC. As Deadline reported last week, the Levys, who in 2020 became the first father-son duo to win Emmys in the same year, will now be the first father-son team to host the awards show.
Eugene and Dan Levy look back on their Emmys for Schitt's Creek, whose final season set a record for most wins in a single year: nine, at the pandemic-affected 2020 Emmy Awards on ABC.
“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the thought of performing in an actual theatre this year was motivation enough,” they said. “We’re thrilled to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with all of you on September 15.”
