Originally published by DC Comics between 1983 and 1984, Ronin told the story of a reincarnated ronin who awakens in a dystopian version of New York City. He soon begins plotting how to kill the reincarnation of his master's murderer.
The series was a huge success and earned Miller much praise and recognition. Now he is back with a sequel.
Ronin Rising will be released on October 8, 2024, and will be published by Frank Miller Presents and Abrams ComicArts. There will be two different editions of Ronin Rising available for purchase, one of which will be a hardcover Collector's Edition and the other will be a paperback "manga edition" from Kana, the manga imprint of Abrams ComicArts.
