Actor charged with multiple violent sexual assaults
Update, 2:35 p.m.: The Eyes of Tammy Faye actor Gabriel Olds faces up to life in prison if found guilty of raping three women, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón said today.
The 52-year-old actor was arrested by the LAPD on August 7 and is scheduled to appear in the Airport Courthouse this afternoon. Prosecutors are asking the court to hold Olds on $3.5 million bail.
Olds is charged with three counts of rape in relation to women with whom he had relationships between 2013 and 2023. Specifically, he is charged with one count of rape of an unconscious or sleeping person; one count of sodomy by force; one count of sexual assault by force; the intent to commit a crime; and one count of wounding a spouse, domestic partner, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or parent of a child.
