The guys of Farmer Wants a Wife Season 2 wanted a change in their lives, and it's a change they got. Not only because they'll both embark on romantic journeys in Season 2 of the Fox reality dating series, which returns Thursday, Feb. 1, but also because their farm lives merge with the world of TV production during filming.
Which Farmer Wants a Wife couples are still together?
In Farmer Wants a Wife, four farmers are paired with eight women who leave their city lives behind to see if life in rural America is for them. Once five women remain in each group, they will stay on the farmers’ farms. But farming doesn’t stop just because a camera crew and a cast of women are staying in your home.
Brandon Rogers (29), a potato farmer, tells TV Insider that he had to learn how to balance filming and farming time when production began on his farm right around the time his annual harvest was starting. There are no weeks off in this job.
"When it's time to farm, you've got to farm. That was the hardest part for me," he says. "I work all year long for this three-week harvest period. Harvest is chaotic, and then you add crew and wives and all these different personalities into the mix; it was a learning experience."
