A Filipino priest has been re-elected as superior general of the more than five-century-old Order of Minor Regular Clerics, also known as the Adorno Fathers.

In a report on the news website of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), Father Teodoro Kalaw, 46, was re-elected to the position on July 13 and will serve a six-year term.
Kalaw was the first Asian Superior General of the order founded in the 16th century.
The priest was first elected Superior General in 2018.
