Berlin-based sales agency Films Boutique has acquired international rights to Zsófia Szilágyi’s “January 2” and Peter Kerekes’ “Wishing on a Star,” ahead of their Venice Film Festival premieres.

“January 2” marks Szilágyi’s return to the festival circuit after her debut film “One Day” premiered at Cannes Critics’ Week in 2018, where it won the Fipresci Prize.
