Sulu Governor Sakur Tan and Vice Governor Toto Tan, along with 38 mayors and vice mayors and 10 provincial executives in the province, took the oath as members of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD).

Lakas-CMD Chairman Ferdinand Martin Romualdez flew to Jolo on Thursday afternoon to administer the oath of membership to its new members.
“I take it that your decision means that you share our aspirations and the vision of President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ R. Marcos Jr. for a better life for our people and a more progressive Philippines,” Romualdez said.
Romualdez expressed the hope that the new members would have a fruitful collaboration with Lakas-CMD.
