The actor will play Fred, a Mars Peacekeeper. The expanding cast for this season also includes Mireille Enos and Costa Ronin, as previously reported.
Created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi, For All Mankind picks up in an alternate version of 1969, where the Soviet Union beats the United States to the moon, and watches as the space race rages on for decades with even greater challenges and goals. The final season launched the series into the new millennium: in the eight years since Season 3, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former enemies into partners. It’s now 2003, and the space program’s focus has shifted to capturing and mining extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions among the inhabitants of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they’ve worked toward.
The upcoming season will be helmed by Wolpert and Nedivi, who will also serve as executive producers alongside Moore and Maril Davis of Tall Ship Productions, as well as David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, Seth Edelstein and Kira Snyder. The show will be produced for Apple TV+ by Sony Pictures Television.
