Zendaya auditioned for Descendants, but it "ended up not being her way," according to former Disney Channel cast member
Zendaya could have been part of Disney Channel's Descendants franchise.
Cornelia Frame, former Vice President of Casting and Talent Relations at the children's network, said the Euphoria star was eager to be a part of the franchise and auditioned several times.
"Zendaya auditioned multiple times for Descendants, and it was a big deal," Frame said during an interview on the Magical Rewind podcast. "It was a really big deal. She auditioned over and over again and she really wanted it. It just didn't go her way."
