Sue Bird, a 20-year WNBA star, said the perceived hatred toward Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is just nonsense that is being misinterpreted.
Clark takes the court today during the WNBA All-Star game, which pits the league's stars against Team USA, the women's basketball team for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.
“I think the majority of the WNBA players, through their play and their conversations, just exuded competition and not hatred toward any individual,” Bird said.
