President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has formalized the alliance of his party, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), with the Nacionalista Party (NP) led by bilyonaryo Manny Villar ahead of the 2025 elections.

During a ceremony held in Taguig City on Thursday (Aug. 8), Marcos said it is “very gratifying” that “big, influential and historic” national parties in the country are heeding his call for unity, which he said is the “key for us to move forward.”
“We declare the PFP, we officially declare its partnership with the Nacionalista Party by signing our alliance. With this, we form a strong united front that would help [us] achieve our shared goal for the Filipino people,” Marcos said.
“And I am sure everyone will agree that our goal is to strengthen the foundation of our nation to better serve our people,” he added.
