Liz Pelletier, publisher of “Fourth Wing,” and Sherryl Clark, former president of Crooked Highway, have formed Premeditated Productions and signed a three-year deal with Amazon MGM Studios for first-look TV and film productions.

With the launch of Premeditated, Pelletier, the CEO and founder of “Fourth Wing” publisher Entangled Publishing, will license Entangled’s extensive back catalog to her and Clark’s new production company for film, television and gaming. Bad Robot veteran Clark (“Cloverfield,” “The Gorge”) will oversee the studio and executive produce Premeditated projects for film and television.

Best known for Rebecca Yarros’ mega-hit romance “Fourth Wing” and its sequel “Iron Flame”, published by Entangled’s imprint Red Tower Books and currently in the works as a TV series on Amazon, other notable titles from the US indie publisher include Hannah Nicole Maehrer’s “Assistant to the Villain” (set up at Legendary), Mai Corland’s “Five Broken Blades”, Sara Wolf’s “Heavenbreaker”, KA Linde’s “The Wren in the Holly Library”, Tracy Wolff’s “Sweet Nightmare” and Kira Archer’s “69 Million Things I Hate About You”.
