British TV presenter Fred Sirieix now has an Olympic medallist in the family.

The daughter of First Dates maître d' and restaurateur Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, won an impressive bronze medal in the women's 10-metre platform synchronised diving at the Paris Olympics.

Spendolini-Sirieix and partner Lois Toulson rose from fourth to third with a final-round dive that sent her father, who was commentating on the diving for the BBC, into raptures as he leapt from his poolside chair. China won the event, with North Korea in second place.
