In the upcoming show, Chandler will play the lead role of meta-human Wendy, who is described as a woman with the body of an adult and the consciousness of a child.

In addition to Chandler, the Alien series will also star Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, Alex Lawther as soldier CJ, Kit Young as Tootles, Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, Essie Davis as Dame Silvia, Adarsh Gourav as Slightly, David Rysdahl and Moe Bar-El. The spinoff, which is described as the first-ever Alien story set on Earth, is written and directed by Hawley. It will be executive produced by Noah Hawley, Scott and Dana Gonzales, with Chris Lowenstein serving as an executive producer.
Further plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is reportedly being developed as a prequel story set before the Sigourney Weaver films. Hawley previously confirmed that the new series will not feature elements from the Prometheus or Alien: Covenant films.
