Xbox confirmed last week that Obsidian’s “Pentiment” multiplatform expansion would launch the following day, with Tango Gameworks’ surprise 2023 hit “Hi-Fi Rush” following in March. “Grounded,” another Obsidian game, and the popular live-service title “Sea of Thieves” are also releasing in March and April, respectively.
Each title was fairly well-received by critics, but none could match the AAA scale of other Xbox exclusives like "Starfield" or the upcoming "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle," indicating that Xbox is keen to test the marketability of multiplatform before subjecting much larger games to the same plan.
