Germany's best-selling gossip magazine Bild announced Monday that it will cut about 200 jobs and close about a third of its regional editions in the country as part of a switch to digital production.

AFP understands that the messages under the headline will be lost in editing, publishing and marketing.
"Current structural changes are resulting in job losses. We are moving away from products, projects and ways of doing things that will never be profitable again," management said in an email to employees on Monday.
The company has made a major shift this year and has gone fully digital.
