Following its world premiere this fall at New York’s SoHo Playhouse, tickets are now available online for the final show of this off-Broadway musical satire on Sunday, October 13, closing the show in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election.
“We are so grateful to the dozens of running mates, our remarkable cast and creative team, and everyone who poured their heart and soul into creating this production, which offered a unique and theatrical window into a presidential year unlike any other,” producers Jason Rose, Lynn London and Max Fose said in a statement. “We are proud to have played our unconventional role in the political conversation. Thank you, and God bless Off-Broadway.”
Ghost of John McCain finds the deceased senator in the afterlife, which turns out to be Donald Trump’s mind. Joined by a “Greek Chorus” of iconic figures including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Roy Cohn, Eva Perón, Teddy Roosevelt, Lindsey Graham, Tiffany Trump, Grizabella from CATS, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Joe Biden, Sarah Palin, Eric Trump and Kamala Harris, they rebel against the former president’s relentless demands for confirmation.
