Clips from the 2013 Tony Award Show: Glengarry Glen Ross
Kieran Culkin, Bob Odenkirk and Bill Burr star in the upcoming revival of David Mamet's acclaimed play “Glengarry Glen Ross.”
The production is scheduled to open on Broadway in spring 2025. Patrick Marber, who recently won a Tony for Tom Stoppard's World War II-set "Leopoldstadt," directs the show, which is set in a cutthroat Chicago real estate office where four salesmen compete to sell mostly worthless properties to unsuspecting clients. Things get ruthless when they get the news that the one who sells the most wins a car and the one who sells the least loses his job.
“In 1983, I saw the original production of ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ in London,” Marber said in a statement. “I was only 19. The play blew my young soul away. It was one of the reasons I wanted to work in theater. Forty years later, I am so excited to be directing it on Broadway with these incredible actors. I will do my utmost to ensure that this great American play brings audiences the same joy it brought me.”
