Grey's Anatomy star Jake Borelli gets first on-screen gay kiss | QNN
There's a new face coming to Grey's Anatomy. ABC's long-running medical drama will add a new, gay male character amid the departure of Jake Borelli, Deadline's sister publication TVLine reports. We learned in May that Borelli, who plays gay doctor Levi Schmitt, would be leaving the series next season after wrapping up his story arc. Borelli has been on the show for seven years, including the past five seasons as a series regular. The new actor will return as a hospital chaplain, TVLine reports.
In the season 20 finale, Levi was forced to consider his future after failing to score well enough on the ABSITE test to qualify for a pediatrics fellowship.
