Jean Smart shares a message for "Hacks" colleague Hannah Einbinder | GMA
On Wednesday morning, Max's hit comedy series Hacks celebrated a total of 17 Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Actress for Jean Smart, Supporting Comedy for Hannah Einbinder, and Supporting Comedy for showrunner and star Paul W. Downs.
Speaking to Deadline following the announcement, Smart, who plays comedy icon Deborah Vance on the show, said she was "so excited" for the entire team, particularly thanking her "absolutely brilliant" nominated makeup artist Keith Sayer and guest star Kaitlin Olsen, who plays Deborah's daughter.
Speaking of guest stars, Hacks has already signed up some juicy names in the past, such as Emmy nominee Christopher Lloyd, Helen Hunt, and Christina Hendricks, to name a few from Season 3. And lately, Smart and Einbinder talking about a dream guest star they'd like to see in Season 4: Elton John.
