Robert Ace Barbers, chairman of the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs and Rep. of Surigao del Norte, said the International Criminal Court (ICC) may use the documents from the ongoing congressional hearings on the Duterte administration's war on drugs campaign.
ICC may use House reports to investigate 'war on drugs', says Barbers
Barbers stressed that the legislative hearings are open to the public, making the records accessible to everyone.
“Records of such hearings would be public. Anyone could use the transcript or perhaps even records of the hearings,” Barbers said.
“As for how they are going to use it, hindi namin sakop iyon. If the ICC wants to use this, it is up to them to make it public. Either way, it is up to them,” he added.
