Hallmark+ is launching just in time for the slew of TV debuts airing this fall.
On September 10, the on-demand streaming app currently called Hallmark Movies Now will get a new name. The original series “The Chicken Sisters,” based on the New York Times bestseller by KJ Dell’Antonia, will debut at launch. New episodes of the drama starring Schuyler Fisk, Genevieve Angelson, Lea Thompson and Wendie Malick will air every Thursday beginning September 12.
The unscripted series “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert” will also be available at launch, with the Hallmark star as host. The 10-episode aspirational series will follow Chabert as he surprises deserving heroes with a celebration of their lives. New episodes will debut every Thursday.
