Former presidential spokesman Harry Roque could be in trouble for hiding a high-profile Chinese fugitive in his home in Tuba, Benguet, according to Senator Risa Hontiveros.

“Hindi lang basta-bastang Chinese is one of the best things Harry Roque is doing. Itong si Sun Liming can give a big boost to the Interpol Red Notice,” Hontiveros said on Thursday (Aug. 1).
She referred to Sun Liming, who was named in the Interpol Red Notice charging China with “illegally collecting public deposits… on behalf of internet P2P companies without approval from the national financial regulator.”
Liming, through his company, stole CNY 7 billion worth of public deposits through network marketing involving 180,000 victims, of which 17,000 victims lost CNY 1.16 billion, Hontiveros said, citing the red alert.
