Heated Johnny Mercer Argument – Have I Got News For You?
Have I Got News for You, a British institution produced by Hat Trick Productions since 1990, will be hosted in the United States by The Daily Show alumnus Roy Wood Jr., as we first reported. The series will deliver comedic observations ranging from the satirical to the surreal through the lens of a news quiz show, offering a smart and edgy take on the week’s news.
Along with Wood, Ruffin and Black will take a rotating cast of guests, including well-known entertainers, politicians and comedians, through a series of comedy games and witty panel discussions that will test their knowledge of current events.
Produced by Hat Trick Productions for CNN Originals, the 10-episode limited series will premiere Saturday, September 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET on CNN. The show will air regularly on Saturdays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and will be available to stream on Max the following day. Executive producers for the U.S. version of Have I Got News For You are Jimmy Mulville, Richard Wilson, and Jim Biederman.
