New TV shows and movies coming to HBO Max between August 12 and August 18, 2024 include Rick and Morty: The Anime and the documentary Chimp Crazy.
On August 16, HBO Max subscribers will be able to watch Rick and Morty: The Anime . The adaptation sees Rick enjoying some free time in a pseudo-world between multiverses. Meanwhile, Summer and Space Beth battle the Galactic Federation and Morty falls in love with a mysterious girl, who unbeknownst to Morty, is a temporal being.
On August 18, HBO Max will debut a documentary called Chimp Crazy . The documentary follows Tonia Haddix, a nurse turned exotic animal broker who claims to be the “Dolly Parton of chimpanzees.” In the documentary, Haddix is shown as she spends her days caring for captive animals. However, her strong bond and affection for one particular chimp landed her in a complicated situation with authorities and an animal rights group.
