It's that time of year again. Gloomy skies, short days and perhaps most annoyingly, everywhere you look you see bouquets of red roses, teddy bears and hearts.

That’s right, Valentine’s Day is here. For some, that’s great news, but for others, it’s often the opposite: at best, a commercialized holiday full of manufactured romance, and at worst, a reminder of those whose lives may be devoid of romance.
