In his State of the Nation address on Monday, the President stressed that the West Philippine Sea belongs to the Filipinos and is not just a figment of his imagination.
“In the Western Philippine Sea, Hindi is a kathang-isip natin lamang. It’s time. When it comes to the management of the Philippine Islands, you can’t wait to ban the Philippines,” he said.
In defending the country's territorial claims, Marcos promised to take peaceful and diplomatic measures to resolve the territorial dispute.
