The four-member House of Representatives committee tasked with investigating the link between extrajudicial killings in Duterte's war on drugs, the shipment of billions of dollars worth of illegal drugs into the country and the illegal operation of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) meets on Monday, August 12.

The meeting, which will be chaired by Robert Ace Barbers, Rep. of Surigao del Norte and chairman of the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs, will discuss the agenda, schedule of hearings and rules of the game.
Barber's opening statement is expected to be followed by Senior Deputy Speaker and Pampanga Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr.; House Committee on Public Order and Safety Chairman Dan Fernandez; House Committee on Human Rights Chairman Bienvenido Abante Jr.; and House Committee on Public Accounts Chairman Joseph Stephen Paduano.
Eight privilege speeches and resolutions have been referred to the Quad Committee.
