House of the Dragon | SEASON 3 TRAILER | Max
While events in season 2 didn't go in King Aegon II's favor, actor Tom Glynn-Carney says viewers will see a different side to his character in season 3 of House of the Dragon.
In the second season, Aegon was burned by his brother and quickly became a "shell of himself". Spending his days in his bedroom has ignited a "fire" in Aegon's eyes, ready to take revenge on anyone who wronged him.
"I think a lot of his swag was taken away by the nature of how restrictive it was — when you're burned at that level, you lose a lot of your freedom of movement and your confidence. When people are coming into your bedroom to clean you up and help you go to the bathroom, your dignity is the last thing on your mind," Glynn-Carney told TheWrap.
