We've finally arrived at the House of the Dragon season 2 finale, and… I'm more frustrated than excited. Aside from a few brief moments here and there, HOTD season 2 was a huge disappointment.

To be honest, I’m shocked. I was expecting an epic reckoning, a fight, a shocking twist, or some kind of wild plot development. Instead, episode 8 felt more like a mid-season chapter than a season finale. In a series filled with dragons, armies, and the threat of war, I think it’s fitting that season 2 ends with two women sitting in a room, sorting out their feelings.

We start off with Tyland Lannister attempting to seduce the Triarchy. This somehow leads to a mud wrestling match between our Cowardly Lion and a tough woman named Lohar. Impressed by Tyland’s tenacity, Lohar agrees to lend him her army. Yay.
