Senator Robin Padilla has no plans to change his ways despite former Senate President Franklin Drilon's comment about the “lack of decency” of certain lawmakers.

Padilla told reporters Monday (June 19) that he was elected senator by voters because of who he was.
Padilla went viral on social media after a video clip of him combing his mustache during a Senate hearing. Defending his actions, the new lawmaker, who finished first in the 2022 Senate race, said combing facial hair is not prohibited under Senate rules.
