As the world inches ever closer to a cashless society, it seems both fitting and ironic that one of the most notable contenders in the mobile e-wallet space is called Cash App. Users love it for its sheer simplicity: add money, spend money. Rinse-wash-repeat — but hopefully with some discretion.

But in that simplicity, it can be confusing, with some users staring at a green balance screen that looks a little too much like a phone keypad. Below, we’ll show you how to add cash in Cash App so you never run out of money (or, more accurately, so you can transcend the need for cash).
You’ll find the Banking tab at the very bottom left of the screen. Clicking on it will present you with a range of options, from Add Cash to Link Bank Account.
If you’ve never added a card to Cash App before, you can directly enter the amount you want to add and press add. This will bring up a prompt to add a debit card number, from where you can fill in your card details and track the payment gateway.
